There's a hole in my torrent where the wind comes in

In somewhat related Battlestar news, the newest public beta for the popular bittorrent client uTorrent, 1.8.3 beta build 14751, has a severe memory leak. All operating systems 2K/XP/Vista are affected.

Download version 1.8.2 stable again and overwrite the update.

If check for updates automatically (on by default) and update to beta versions (off by default) are both checked in uTorrent's general preferences, you're using build 14751 since last Tuesday.

We now resume our regularly infrequent but more respectable BSG posts.
